Barbie Camper [Amazon Exclusive]
Sold and shipped by or fulfilled through Amazon.com
This amazing Barbie DreamCamper transforms from a camping RV into a campsite playset with room for four Barbie dolls to sleep (dolls sold separately). Designed in signature pink with rolling wheels, this camper opens to reveal so much more! Simply press the button at the top of the vehicle to activate a magical feature: the side panel opens, the top pops up and the front and back of the camper expand to create a play space more than 2 feet long! The open side becomes a pool with a water slide and stairs that fold out. The interior offers dining under the stars -- set up the dining table and front vehicle seats that become two chairs. The back of the camper holds a closet and bathroom with sink, shower and toilet on one side -- on the other side is a kitchen with sink, a refrigerator and a surprise fold-out table! DreamCamper also includes a fire pit and marshmallows roasting on sticks which allow for bonding moments. And two hammocks and two sleeping spaces mean four dolls can enjoy sweet dreams. When morning comes and it's time to move, close up the camper and roll to the next adventure. Cool details, like pink wheels, a moving steering wheel, silvery accents, a colorful stripe and open windows, make camping fun. Lots of accessories add to the storytelling play. Young adventurers will love hitting the open road with the Barbie DreamCamper and stopping wherever imagination leads because with Barbie, you can be anything! Includes camper play set with transformation features that include a pop-out pool (with ladder and stairs), pop-out rear (with bathroom and kitchen features), two hammocks and front seats that double as chairs; furnishings that include a dining table, two stools and a fire pit; and storytelling accessories, like four sticks with marshmallows, place settings, food, pillows and blankets for sleeping; dolls not included. Colors and decorations may vary.?
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chrisjen from Much better than other Barbie campers! This is our second daughter that is 12 yrs younger than our first! Boy has this changed! Includes so many fun accessories! We added the boat and it has been seven days of non-stop fun on “Barbie’s camping vacation” I love all the fun pretend play.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MVerV from Top continues to pop up... Very very disappointed the top of the camper doesn't stay shut properly. For the price of the item this shouldn't happen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MommaOvFour from Kept my kids of different ages occupied The camper was really fun to put together and my kids have been playing with it for a few hours now. It was cute and a really fun concept and it's fun how some things can be used in different ways like how the driver seat comes out and can be used as a picnic chair. My only complaint was that it came with a lot of tiny pieces like Barbie silverware that are easily misplaced by a child [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by KDUBBS from Mostly great, Daughter loves it! My 4 year old daughter really enjoys this toy. The only complaint is that the pop-up top will not stay shut. Does anyone have this problem that can recommend a solution? Since she's still only 4, she tends to have a fit over it, LOL!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jem1543 from Great Features! This Dream Camper has so many different things to do with it. My 3 and 6 year olds will play with it for hours together. They love that it can change from a pool to a kitchen and bed then close it all up and it can drive off! Our camper is a little hard to get the latch to stay closed, but my kids figured it out. It was a little pain to get all the stickers and stuff on, but all in all this toy is so much fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by mshell0123 from So much fun! Wow! This is really a lot of fun! It opens to have a swimming pool and slide for the Barbies to play in. There is a kitchen area, a bathroom, a little campfire, and a resting area on the top. There are two hammocks to let the dolls hang out in. It all closes up and two dolls can sit in the front to drive. I wish that I had one of these when I was a kid! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by KaleyH from Top won't stay down I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it but not even 10 minutes out of the box and the top that's supposed to pop up to be a bed will NOT stay shut. I got it to stay for MAYBE 20 seconds or so and it popped right back up If you so much as touch the camper. She gets really frustrated with it and considering I paid $100 for this, I'm not thrilled that it does this right out of the box.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Trina Barber from Pop-up top won’t stay closed My daughter received this for Christmas and she was thrilled to get it. Unfortunately the pop up top won’t stay closed and my daughter becomes very frustrated. I’m disappointed as this wasn’t an inexpensive purchase and my husband threw out the box so I’m unable to exchange it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moonbeamer from Great for In Between Camping Trips The Barbie DreamCamper has really impressed my children who enjoy camping in the mountains. They've spent hours playing with the camper since we've gotten it and I've really gotten a kick out of listening to them role playing experiences we've had while camping. It is a bit large, but I consider that a positive especially if multiple children will be playing at one time. Barbie products have proven again to be another effective form of pretend play when my children have gotten bored with building blocks and dress up. Rated 3 out of 5 by Lis0608 from My daughter got frustated I bought this toy for my daughter as a Christmas gift. However she called my attention when she showed me that Barbie doll can't get shower in the bathroom due to her size. My daughter and I got very disappointed because one of the main feature of the camper only works for Barbies doll's sister (Chelsea). If the toy is called "Barbie Camper", all features should be able to be used by Barbie, not only by her sister. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by jess1234 from Nice Toy, but Again, Trouble with Pop Up Top We just got this for my daughter's birthday today from her grandmother. It is a brand new toy that doesn't work properly. There is no latch to hold down the top properly. It is a poor design with a straight plastic piece being the only thing to hold it shut. We've done everything to keep it closed, and tired closing it after everything else is shut, as directed. Still, it doesn't stay down. Disappointing. This is very discouraging to deal with right from the very first try at it. Only nice if it works properly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by chrisa417m from Cute BUT..... I purchased this for my daughter's birthday, usually I check reviews, especially when spending this much money on a toy... I failed to do so this time expecting a Barbie product to be worth the cost.. Unfortunately, my daughter has the same problem with the top not staying closed. As soon as she moves it, it pops right back up. That is the only complaint I have, I really like the removable pool to easily dump out the water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jillyt0414 from Pop up top won't close My 5 year old daughter got this for xmas from her grandma and she was so excited. She is however, very frustrated that the pop up top won't close. I read some reviews and it seems that this is common. I helped her clear everything out of the way to make sure we could completely close the camper but the top still will not close. I hope there is some sort of resolution for this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lisa1019 from Not worth the money Literally just opened after finally saving enough to justify purchasing for my 3.5 yr old. Right out the box and when you drive it it squeaks like nails on a chalkboard when you drive it. The fridge door is also popping off everytime you open it. Super aggravated that it’s like this after she waited so long for it

Rated 3 out of 5 by Astotler from Frustrated Child My daughter got this for Christmas and is the toy she plays most with but the top does not latch to stay down. We have resorted to taping it down when she wants it to stay. Not something that should of have to be done for the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MelissB21 from Great Barbie Toy! We are in love with this Barbie Camper and play with it every day! The Camper is fully furnished and can hold up to 4 Barbies. The Camper includes a kitchen, pool, water slide, fire pit, canopy bed, closet and bathroom. Lots of stuff to keep their imaginations going. My kiddos favorite parts of the Barbie Camper are the pool and water slide. The Camper easily folds out and easily folds back together when the kids are done playing with it. It's sturdy and allows for 360° of play! Great addition to our Barbie collection! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ceron27 from Missing parts My kids would absolutely love this toy. IF it actually had everything. We're missing the pool and ladder, one of the big chairs and the stand for the table top. Is this what I can expect from these products? Not worth the price at all

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jlilly85 from So much fun! I was so excited when I received the Barbie DreamCamper for my daughter. I had a Barbie van when I was a child and it's just as great as I remember. First of all, the size is perfect. Barbie fits in very well (does not come with Barbie so you will need to purchase one if you do not already own one). I love all of the little details like the little fold out pool, refrigerator and bathroom. It comes with cups and plates and all kinds of little pieces to make it a true camping experience, even a little campfire! My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves it. She is able to pull all of the parts out herself and pop everything back together for storage. If you are on the fence, I would recommend getting this for your child. It's so much fun and is great for imaginative play. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by mrsdupre from It's a must-have After a year of begging from my 8 year old I gave in and bought it for her and im so glad i did. Its awesome and comes with so many accessories and add ons. She loves that it can be a regular driving camper and with the push of a button turns into a fold out palace as she calls it. She loves the pool that you can actually add water to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bgirls from Lots of room for imagination I have four girls. My second daughter wanted a barbie camper for Christmas last year but everywhere we looked, they were sold out. When I saw this, I jumped on the opportunity to get it. Assembly only required putting on the stickers and snapping the pool and front into place, so out of the box it was ready for play in less than 10 minutes. My girls have been playing with it all day and I've enjoyed listening to all their different stories they've dreamed up with their barbies. They love the refrigerator and all the fun accessories and like that the accessories can snap into the fridge and not tip over when they are "driving". There is lots of room in the front and back to hold several barbies and more accessories when the camper is folded up. At first it was a little tricky for them to figure out how to fold up, but they have the hang of it now and can easily fold it up with no frustration. All in all, a great toy that provides room for imagination and hours of imaginative play! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by Raven88 from Very fun My daughter really likes how the camper expands out. The pros of this camper is that it has multiple play areas & lots of accessories for lots of play time. Another great thing about this camper is how the big pool is & that it comes with a slide that is my daughter favorite thing about this camper. It has great colors & designs on the camper. My daughter also likes the loft it works great for her fashionista dolls. Cons the shower is super small Barbie has to sit to shower. The chairs double as the driver & passenger sits when in the camper the chairs fall over when my daughter is rolling the camper. The fashionista dolls don't work very well in the campers hammocks & the hammocks are hard to get them to hang. Overall this is a really good toy I would recommend the Barbie DreamCamper [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jay1985 from Love it! My daughter loves her Barbie Dream Camper. She was so excited when she got to open it. It has many great colors and design with many play areas for lots of playtime. She had fun putting the stickers on and filling the pool up. She kept having her barbies slide down the slide and splash in the pool. It was easy to put together. There is a lot of accesories that come with it that include furniture, cups, silverware, roasting sticks with marshmallows, campfire and more. I highly recommend to all Barbie lovers! Rated 2 out of 5 by Sb123 from Frustrated!! My daughter was so excited to receive this for Christmas! She is 8 and all about anything Barbie. Unfortunately, the top won't stay down. We have tried everything short of taping it. Her heart is still broken a month later because she can't "drive" it. She already has the barbie dream house and was excited about this being able to drive and pop up. I'd recommend it, but only if your child wants it stationary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heyhanker2 from A party-making hit! Initially this review was supposed to be a review of a manufacturer supplied item. However, it was lost in shipping. After already waiting a few weeks for it to arrive, I decided that my 7 year-old daughter waited patiently for long enough so we went out and purchased this Dream Camper. The Dream Camper is impressive. Surprisingly large when fully opened and every portion of this camper offers something to do. Pool, kitchen, lounge...it's almost a fold-up DreamHouse. When the neighbor kids saw my daughter playing outside, they came running over with their dolls and then went to go get the other kids who live across the street. A Saturday morning purchase turned into an afternoon Barbie party! Retailing at right around one hundred dollars, I could completely understand this being a Holiday or birthday only toy, but it's a toy that falls in between the cost of a DreamHouse and the typical forty dollar playsets while offering play that almost matches the DreamHouse, with the bonus of taking up less room, and use as storage because the camper can hold dolls when not fully opened. The DreamCamper is still the first toy reached for after homework is done. I'm happy that I went out and got it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kayla90 from Difficult to close I bought this toy for my daughter as a Christmas gift. And she loves it. Only downfall is that it is difficult to close and you can't really store any of the accessories inside or it will not close properly.
